Why does a random ass album on Spotify called "20 #1’s: Movie Love Songs" have the best sounding version of this song I've ever heard??????

oh it's in ones called "Motown Classics Gold" from 2005 and "Motown Greatest Hits" from 2019 too

Agreed. Hearing this one live on Halloween last year when I saw the temptations it was so amazing. As well as many other great hits. And who can complain about a Four Tops & Temptations double header. Might only be one original member left for each but the band's still have the spirit in them as the remaincing captains steer the ship of a lovely perfomance,
