Sounds like a song from the group Asia (maybe it's because it was the "Heat of the Moment"....LOL)

I like the original, and this is the techno version that's being played so should be tagged as a remake rather than being the original song.

Noth the original cut. The original was slower tempo, although most radio stations played at a slightly faster pace (46-47 rpm) to get the entire song on in less time. I believe most DJs were sick of it back then.

Not sure what this version is. Sounds like a techno remake that samples the original. (PS.. it's really bad)

Is it the original on the radio? I haven't listened to it for ages, but I remember something different...

I first heard this music in 1961 when I lived in Memphis and it is just as pretty now as it was then. It was first recorded in 1961 in South Africa by a group of black gentlemen known as The Evening Songbirds (I believe). It was around even earlier in the 1920's with a different title. Beautiful music.

The Original is an Old African song, recorded well before the Tokens did it about 1961. Google it and you will find this haunting rendition

I loved this song even before the Lion King. As a little girl in school we use to sing this song:0}
