Luna-C about kf7:"The Trip was a conceptual project. This first release was just me and Bull-E, with Spennie joining from Trip 2 onwards. Each Trip release was supposed to try a different style. For this first one, we went as dark as we could. Sampling from the classic movie "The Shining", we took Jack Nicholson at his very worst, and added thundering drums and bass. The only amen we had available was the one from the flip side of the Dj Exel release that sampled Jaws. Which wasn't the best quality ever. And the bass is "thundering" because its waaaayyyyy too loud. Still, this release was another step forward. if you look at the first 20 releases on Kniteforce, you can see the continued effort to step up our game with each release. This record was a way to see how many gimmicks I could add to one release. So here we have a white vinyl, no label, one sided 10". And as the popular E for the time was called "the snowball" we named the record that way too. Hence the choice of white vinyl!"
