"The Wish" is…
1) Musical group formed in Badajoz, composed of Curro (vocals and guitar), Alfredo (drums), Javi (guitar and background vocals), Campini (bass) and Eugenio (keyboards and effects). The Wish makes British Pop Rock , with some reminiscences funk, punk and disco. The five components have previously participated in other projects with some bands from Extremadura. After several awards and having shared the stage with Amaral, Mojo Project, La excepción, Albertucho , Seine, Bombones… The wish changes configuration and introduces new sounds and effects (“new” for the band) into its songs. Lately, The Wish won the local contest “Badajozrock” , and has been classified as finalists for the “concurso nacional Grupo revelacion Contempopranea 2008”, being included on the CD that Contempopranea will publish and distribute to all Spain. The wish has also had the opportunity to play with five other bands in sala Costello, in Madrid, as semifinalists in the national contest Demonova, Supernovapop.
