Their Deadbolt cover is on point. Between that & their last single, we need a post hardcore TWY album, they'd absolutely kill it.

New album seems like it's ready to be their best since The Greatest Generation. All of the pre-release singles have been gut-wrenchers.

Awesome band! It took me years to finally get to them, but I got to them! Love the first album, even though the band disowns it. I loved it so much that I listened to the 2007 version and the remastered version from 2012! I checked out deluxe edition of The Upsides first. However, I found the first album to be better. Will check out more!

How is Get Stoked On It! their most popular album on here? Like, I do like that album but I always thought it was a pretty obscure release, especially when compared to their other stuff.

I fell in love with Upsides...but it seems they progressively had their songs become more and more dramatic. Most of their songs seem completely drawn out, and it gets tiring for me to listen to song after song where Soup just yells. The guitars don't do much either...feels like I've heard it before. The emotion is definitely there though.

As much as I love pop punk, I think Sister Cities is their best album musically speaking. It's mature, well thought and sad in a different way to Suburbia. It's not angry, it doesn't have The Upsides' hatred for their hometown, it's not wanting to run away. It's longing, it's homesick, it's wanting to go back home. It's sad in an adult, loving way, and I love it.

Sister Cities is an outstanding work of art and it feels so good that after all these years, this band still knows how to consistenly put out unique and amazing albums. Thank you for everything!

Sister Cities sounded like TWY on auto-pilot but Pyramids of Salt's got me feeling those feels. I'm hyped for this fucking album.

Well hello there mr. fakoflan. Just so you know your comment doesn't make you wizard of music with your fancy "old school" core terms. Back in the day when we started listening this we called it pop punk or just punk rock. And I think that those are much more appropriate genretags to describe this kind of music. I don't think that your mom would appreciate if you said that hey mom, have you heard this cool easycore band? Your mom would be like damn son gtfo of my basement.

How come? Before you started listening music there were bands like Ramones, Descendents, Screeching weasel, The Queers etc. All of them were labeled as pop punk bands and I definitely consider them as punk bands. However the sound of pop punk has evolved and expanded from those days. Thus allowing people to call these guys punk rock.
