I remember buying their albums 20 years ago, been a long while since I'd put them on, nice to revisit those again

I discovered them on Metal.it years ago and I found other bands through that site. I only have their song Cruenta Pugna. I should get more by them. Sensational Sicilian metal!

The Lasting Power is one of my top 10 albums for sure. I hope they can return to that sound someday.

ShiHuangDi is awesome! It is beyond me how a band which has been around since 1998 and has released multiple succesful albums can have so few listeners.

"ShiHuangDi" is superb! Great return to form if I've ever heard one. All the signature Thy Majestie elements are back -- the choirs, the symphonics, the historical concepts, etc. Not quite on par with "Hastings" or "J'eanne D'arc", but quite close. So much better than that the misfired prog/power 2008 effort "Dawn".

As a successor of historical theme, 始皇帝 is magnificent one!

I really enjoy The Lasting Power album. Have bought it in 2001 and still hear this nowadays.

Hope they return to their roots, like Steel Attack recently did. Dawn is "ok", but doesn't even come close to Hastings and Jeanne D'Arc. Raw speed and melody is what we're here for.

I think the departure of Giuseppe Bondi is reflected on the music quite drastically - after all, he was the leading composer for Hastings 1066 and Jeanne d'Arc. Where those two wonderful masterpieces are full of unique splendour, Dawn is sadly quite mediocre in my eyes. I so much hope sir Bondi would return to the band, for he is a musical genius...

The old sound of thy majestie wes ok but the new dawn album is really amazing.One of the best album in power metal i genre which is kind of average at best these days. Kept it up :)

Hastings and Jeanne are very bombastic and ambitious, but somehow their songs lack spirit and feel. :/ Also I don't usually like their arrangements.

the day of changes and two minutes hate rule!! thy majestie deserves more recognition - some of their work is incredibly good!

Dawn has become on of my favorite albums of all time. As You Fall, Two Minutes Hate and Day of the Changes are just brilliant, imho. Can't really get into their older albums :P

Haha, yeah thats a glitch. Upvotes:downvotes - 0:16 for dawn cover, 82:2 for band image. But while i'm here I'm going to say i'm overall upset with Dawn. Strays so far from their classic sound. Especially the choirs are missing, That really made them unique. They got close to it on "Through Heat and fire" but come on... I want their original, unique sound, cause Dawn is generic boring power metal garbage overall.

Hastings is really great. Masterpiece. Period. And by the way, I don't like Dawn.

Hi everybody from Dario Cascio.

i like Dawn, it's got the melodic quality of their earlier albums, so it's enjoyable to me. I admit however, that Hastings and Jeane were better; but we must give everything a chance i believe. And Dawn is a great prog/power metal album, even if the style is a bit too saturated.

Rhapsody have always been the best in this category. But it's too bad for TM's new album... Hastings and Jeanne d'Arc were so great! :(
