If you're talking about comin' for 94 that song came out before the Nintendo song did at least I think so because I can't find anything that says it came out before 1998 whilst comin' for 94 came out in 1994

Actually, several songs from "A2A" and "On the Run" called my attention to have soundbits that looked familiar and similar to Super Mario and DK OST, but look, it's only a guess, i can definetely be wrong. Anyway the "Comin' for 94" one i do think it's pretty unlikely to be a zelda sample too, it can be the rudest coincidence of it all, nonetheless a zelda game have first come out in 86, and the link to the past came in 91, but i've never found this song or any similar rhythm anywere, so yeah, pretty unlikely.

ps:i heard someone, somewhere, at sometime, saying that the Comin' for 94 sample it's probably a telephone out of service dialing tone, it's hard to prove aswell but i thought interesting.
