im ashamed to admit this but the first time i heard this song was on the movie Road Trip where the big black girl has sex with the white boy. anyway it was playing in the background and i had to find it...so glad i did. i never knew this song was an old one, i was born in 79.still no excuse. but i love love love it.

You know I was so stuck on the Love Jones' soundtrack that I failed to realize that this was a remake of Minnie Ripperton's original hit. Tells you how another generation will appreciate great music but I want to always thank those who originated the music and sound. Minnie's version of course TRUMPS Trina's but Trina did a spectacular job of giving it her own twist. I love her for taking on the risk of remaking a classic and making it her own.
