I personally think the bass solo in this song is probably one of the best in all of metal. [2] That's msotly because of the severe lack of ones, but it is still great regardless. Should be more bass solos/fills.

Trivium is a cool band. I agree with rockerjay that they are comparable to Metallica, but they do have their own sound and music.
