To me this song feels more like a love letter to his mom and him proving that he is very much *not* like him and is his own person rather than a song about his dad. This whole album just oozes with love and respect for his mom and this song in particular feels like I'm witnessing a conversation between them. Crazy beautiful song and up there as one of his best
