Not inventing the wheel, but that's the way I like it usually to be honest. Too much progression often leads to shit music. Treat this like Motorhead, they release the same album every time, but it's a tried and tested formula that works. Why change?

This bores me. The best moments of the album sound a lot like God Macabre and I'd rather listen to the Winterlong if I get a craving for this style of death metal, but then, I'm not a huge fan of sedish death metal so I guess it's a bit understandable. I'd say that this release will only be interesting to the ones that just can't get enough of the stockholm death metal sound because this is not exactly breaking new grounds or anything.
