The Wretched; The Ruinous is grear! I think it's sounds more OG. Even without Ken Unearth is still Unearth!

I started off with Darkness in the Light and I like it. So far I'm listening to Arise the War Cry and I love it, it's probably the best song on the album. I'm going to check out more Unearth albums.

Unearth has some of the most upbeat sounding metal riffs I've ever heard. Them, Baptized in Blood's self titled and After the Burial's "Rareform" album.

    there's innumerable melodic death metal bands that have a similar melodic, upbeat and energetic riffing style, these ones are a tad bit different to my ears at least, but you're right in bringing them up especially the Colony and Clayman albums

I'm now a proud owner of The Oncoming Storm, III: In The Eyes Of Fire and The March on vinyl. Thanks to the guys over here who encouraged me to give Unearth another (different) listen back in 2016-'18. Initially I wasn't impressed after hearing "Watchers Of Rule" (still think that one's meh), but I got absolutely hooked by the albums I bought.

  Да , классная группа. А самое главное, что все альбомы звучат отлично друг от друга. Например Darkness in the light получился очень мелодичным и красивым(если мы говорим про выборку нот). In the eyes of fire вышел крайне быстрым и местами мрачным. Лично я слушаю у них всё(кроме первой ипишки 1998г , ибо я слишком молод для такого материала).

    Первый альбом прикольный. Он очень хардкорный и моментами сырой , но в нём что-то есть. В 2022 году они его ремастер выпустят... Мб там звук будет лучше, а так : Fuel The Fire, Only The People, Stronghold, My Heart Bleeds No Longer - очень даже. Но на вкус и цвет) Лично я уже схатил передоз от этой группы за столько лет прослушивания

I think Extinction(s) might be their best album to date. I've been listening since the III era and the newer stuff is just plain awesome.

I feel like Trevor's vocals sound different from record to record. Not a bad thing, still great either way. Just vocally he sounds different in the new stuff compared to say, The March or Oncoming Storm.

Новый альбом топ , просто пушка , но джент гитары портят два трека(Hard lined downfall, sidewinder). А так всё супер , альбом воспринимается как цельная работа , треки отлично дополняют друг-друга , есть как логическое начало , так и логический конец.

Just listened to Watchers Of Rule and every track sounded the same. Same duration, same kinda riffs, licks, etc. It was not very good in my opinion, but the cover art was sick. Too bad the content wasn't the same, especially considering that Unearth is constantly being recommended to me based on other great bands.
