went to the Norfolk show and didn't even know there was a new album, but I picked it up after the show. I love how he keeps reinventing his sound but also sounding like himself, only the best of artists manage to do that!

Wow, new album is an expected surprise. Not gonna lie, I had kind of given up on Wild Nothing after Nocturne as nothing really hit those highs again - but Hold is definitely one of my favourite albums of the year.

I remember waiting in the hipster barbershop in 2014 in the trendy gentrified neighborhood and they were playing Wild Nothing on the speakers. Now, when I am at Target in the surburbs in 2021 shopping for nicotine lozenges they are playing Wild Nothing. Several times now I heard it playing in Target.

Life of Pause was his most experimental and adventerous release, while Indigo is a bland copy of Nocturne, not a bad album but definitely worse than any of the previous three.

Only the latter half of Life Of Pause kept me interested. Indigo is a jam start to finish.

Я бы твои слова отнес исключительно к последнему альбому, а вот как раз первые три - это одно из немногих светлых пятен в безликой пучине современной дрим-поп музыке, топовые аранжировки, отличные мелодии, неоднообразно, первый альбом так ваще, он же такой нежный, как постелька у малыша, мой любимый дрим-поп альбом

ну продакшн неплохой, а сонграйтинг довольно стандартный, я ничего особо не запомнил по прослушиванию и возвращаться как-то не захотел, да и вообще тебе не кажется смелым называть любимым альбом с 2018 года, как-то мало времени прошло

Always exciting to hear new stuff from an artist whose music I've been a fan of for quite some time. Album-wise, I didn't like it much sadly, but way more cohesive and enjoyable than Life Of Pause for sure. Really hooked on Wheel Of Misfortune at the moment. Third place after personal classic Nocturne, and Gemini.
