Have you ever felt that you have irreparably blew it? Well, I think that's the case for me right now, there's no turning back. For a few minutes, at least, I feel like I can still move on. Maybe there's really something for me.

Hey, it might feel like you've blown it now. But the truth is that life only goes forward anyway — there never is or was a "going back". Don't worry, you can't change the past but you can definitely change your relationship to the past. You will feel different about all this, and it might even seem, from the vantage point of the future, as a positive turning point — who knows. Hang in amigo!

7 minute ver. > 4 minute ver. [9] The seven minute version was the first Yo La Tengo song I ever heard and it's the one that made me fall in love with this band. It still takes me back to being in college, doing homework and just randomly looking through albums I borrowed from a friend of mine...listening to Painful on my computer and just being completely in awe.
