Barbarians is an absolute masterpiece! Best album of 2020, fo' sho!

I was never really a fan of this band at their commercial peak, but Sick Octave is one of the best albums I've ever heard. Insanely overlooked.

Turn Tail is the perfect single, it's like a soaring anti-anthem!

Huge fan, love a lot of Sick Octave. Don't really enjoy the second half, especially 'Bella Bella' and 'Bed Warmer', but I do feel like that's more on my side.

The second half of the new record (everything after 'Something Awful' except 'Maureen') is challenging, but it's easily their best. 'We Could Be Blood' could become something of a modern classic if it gets out to enough people.

I agree with the comment below. I was blown away by this release, easily my favourite album of 2013. Seeing them perform it in it's entirety was amazing. Such an underrated band.

I hope with the last album only reaching 80 in the UK charts that the record label will give up pushing this commercial sound on them, hopefully they will get back to making some authentic Post-Punk.

i'm really suprised that there's quite a few comments hating on them! i've got the first album which i thought was magic, and just listened to the latest one and i'm loving it, it's different but just such feel good tunes on it!

Saying that ive listened to the new album and it sounds a bit wet.

I prefer the name without "The" infront of it> There are to many bands with The infront of their name, it makes the name sounds boring.

Shit, I'm so jealous of you 'Young Knives' listeners with your spiffy new default photo. We over at 'The Young Knives' have had the same mediocre one for like... 2 years.

Honestly, what was the point in them slightly changing their name; it just adds unnecessary confusion.

Do I really have to re-play all my scrobbled 'The Young Knives' tracks retagged? I prefer the 'The', like everyone else. It's almost like... almost like... the band didn't consider the last.fm ramifications of their name change. How inconsiderate!

I hate saying Young Knives instead of The Young Knives, it feels weird to say ;_;
