This track just gets better and better the more I listen to it. The first phase makes me think of the history of Godfrey, him leading an army in a war against the giants, his battle with Placidusax, his Crowning of Elden Lord, him taking Serosh onto his back and his exile. The second phase is the complete opposite and while it's got a less interesting structure, it's intentionally simplistic in its violent and primal nature, showing Hoarah Loux's true self without restraint. A lot of this is probably just my imagination but I feel this track has some great storytelling in it.

There's also this little yet absolute amazing detail in the cutscene where the player enters the arena, you see Godfrey's grace pointing towards us (the player), marking us as an opponent / obstacle in Godfrey's way to be Elden Lord. What an honourable boss, when you die to him in first phase, he says: "Tarnished Warrior. 'Twas nobly fought.", and when you defeat him, he says: "Brave Tarnished... Thy strength befits a crown." This is the most respectful praise we get from a boss in the entirety of From' s games.

The grace itself seems to come from Morgott's body as he fades away too which is also interesting. Seems to me like Morgott received the Erdtree's blessing in his dying moments, likely since he seems to be completely drained of his omen blood and no longer reviled by the Golden Order. He loved and protected the Erdtree his whole life but only received its grace in death.
