I think it's extremely funny you used the term "scene kids". even IF, let's say any given top tier celebrity would say out loud he/she is into cybergrind/porngrind/goregrind, obviously the music/events/social media would be flooded initially. But it'll die down just as quickly. For the past 15yrs I put it on when it would fit the conversation (mostly BBYB, Eardelete, Seii Taishogun or Libido Airbag). 80% asked to turn it tf off NOW, most of them with already bleeding ears. Only 2, two, TWO!! ppl had positive feedback: one woman said it's "not that bad" (she started with gabber/hardstyle so no surprise there) and another one said she actually likes and listens to this kind of music. Really can't understand why pretty much all ppl simply can't stand this music bc it's my fave genre and always will be. Whatever bad mood I'm in, listening to cybergrind just makes me happy. I'll die on the hill that this is the best subgenre ever. <3

https://xpelleir.bandcamp.com/ Wierd shitty vaporwavish/Industrial Black Metal/Cybergrind project I did way back in 2009, an EP was supposed to be released back in 2010 but the guitarist quit and my 2010 laptop got a virus, after that happened the band was barely active and never got anywhere until I went through an old harddrive of my 2009 computer and found the old tracks and tabs and finally got a guitarist who could actually finish it.
