Kids who say that old hardcore bands would be ashamed, and that this isn't what hardcore is all about have forgotten about a few little, unknown bands called Minor Threat, Teen Idles, and oh you've probably never heard of them, Bad Brains

@Lenn-_ hardcore is about whatever you want it to be about. hardcore isn't one thing. it's however the listener interperates it. just because these bands were positive isn't that a good thing? alot of these bands are some of the most influential hardcore bands in existance. the only thing that is for sure. is that hardcore is about spirit. whether that spirit is aggressive (which most of the time it is) or whether that spirit is positive. who gives a fuck.
