This is not a genre but an umbrella term to describe a group of various genres. It's more philosophy/ethos than sound if that makes sense. Either way, I fucks with vision, y'll ain't on the wavelength, I suppose

Sure. I’ve actually been really enamored of this phenomenon for the past couple of years. For me, I prefer the term “Internetcore”, and it basically encompasses any music that was either primarily made, discovered, marketed, or appealed to an Internet-savvy audience. Think post-ironic and existential genres like vaporwave, cloud rap, bedroom pop, bubblegum bass, PC music/hyperpop (definitive). Probably just look up post-Internet or Internet music. Some links that explore specific artists/albums/songs that I’ve found interesting: https://rateyourmusic.com/list/KingGhidorah/internet-bred-fuckfest/ , https://rateyourmusic.com/list/kalts/post-club_deconstructed-club-dj-sets/ , https://rateyourmusic.com/list/Jake_Schultz/digital-morphine-the-wonderful-and-frightening-world-of-computer-music/ , https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hauntology_(music) I have more links but didn’t want this comment to be more bloated than it already is lmao
