God this album is so cringe, feels so forced, almost like some kind of christian rock. I know Polly can pull of irony – but this doesn't feel like it.

This is a good record - do not understand what the negativity is about. Good songwriting, her voice is amazing as always and she develops what she build on LES by taking everything in a more orchestral direction. It reminds me of Arcade Fire in places. My only critique is that the dynamic contrasts can be a bit lacking, exactly because of the orchestra sound of the record. More changes in orchestration, and perhaps less use of the choir sound, would have been an improvement to me.

I cherish this album more and more with time. It's "for a special occasion" album and amazing project

It feels like the weaker sequel of LES, but I still really like it, it has some fantastic songs on it.

This album is SO disappointing for PJ standards. I cant even believe she made actually a really uninteresting album,

She's always made challenging music, sometimes a few repeats are needed to get what she's doing.

All this hate... Right, it's not as good as LES, but still cohesive and relevent, with great moments

Definitely not as immediate as Let England Shake, but it feels a lot more experimental and layered, just taking the sound to the next level. Will definitely be one of those that will be controversial for years to come.
