Biography
LA based musicians Alis and Derek Lotek have worked on various collaborative music projects since meeting in 2006. Seeking to get out of the studio and return to performing, they stripped down the rig to it's rawest and most portable form, and decided on the ever so fitting name Cable Patch Kids in 2010.
Utilizing various grooveboxes, old portable analog and digital drum machines, sequencers, samplers and a DVD player, the Cable Patch Kids love having fun making a variety of styles of music and remixing their creations live in a dj battle format.
Derek's other projects include The Super Heroes of Tomorrow, 37ghost, Der Hagen Bahn, and co-production work with Buen and Zilch Records' founder Silverlage.
