Biography
Abdou Rakhmane Diallo, aka "The Prince of Yella" . By the time Abdou Rahmane Diallo "Rahmane" reached age 13 he was already popular because of a testament made by Baaba Maal on television in Senegal.
In 1998, after winning a competition between 30 artists from Senegal and the Francophonie award in France competing against 85 artists from around the world, he became the new great hope of Senegalese music and an ambassador of the Hal Pulaar people. In 1999, he received a scholarship from the ex-President of Senegal Abdou Diouf to study abroad in Belgium (Muziekschool Waelrant, Muziekschool Ward De Beer). Rakhmane returned to Senegal in 2005.
